I go April 21 for my 2nd shot.

 

This Saturday, April 3, our office has a limited number of covid-19 vaccine appointments available to 47th Ward neighbors who are eligible inPhase 1A, 1B, and 1C. The event will be held at DePaul College Prep at 3333 W Rockwell Ave. Jewel will be administering the Pfizer vaccine, which will require a second appointment on Saturday April 24.

Our staff has been reaching out to social service providers, seniors, and employees at local small businesses to ensure they have access to a covid-19 vaccine appointment this weekend. Now, we are excited to be able to offer the remaining appointments to all eligible 47th Ward residents.

Do any vaccine locations really ask for proof of eligibility upon arrival/check-in?

 

Anecdotally, none of the people I know who got it were asked for proof.

Hell, I got mine at a site that was meant ONLY for government employees and no one asked me a thing.

 

Walgreens had me check a couple boxes in this one handout for my eligibility, it wasn’t even updated for my category by the time I got it.

 

When I got mine all they did was check to see my QR code for the appointment signup

 

As someone who works in construction so I know a ton of people who got theirs early due to hospital projects and etc, not a single person has been asked to show proof. Not one.
