Places like this are gonna continue to exclusively get my business. I really feel for all the bar and restaurant workers but not going to jeopardize my health for something the state shouldn't even allow until we get to herd immunity from vaccines.
Hopleaf is doing that too. Can’t wait to go back there safely. Im really hoping my work opts to keep our lobbies closed.
Honestly didn’t know places were defying Lori’s nonsense and refusing to do indoor dining. If anyone has a list of places doing such, please drop them here so I can give them my support.
Literally every restaurant and bar in the southwest suburbs Edit: read that wrong. I was referring to places violating the indoor dining ban.
Breweries are my favorite places to go. Great to see their positions on this. Makes me want to pick up some of their beer even more!
aw. my old ward for the last three years I was in the city. there are fewer more iconic duos to me than the 45th ward and shitty alderman.
8 New Cases of More Transmissible COVID-19 Variant Discovered in Chicago, Cook County: Officials Wow good thing the state isn't allowing superspreading events like high school sports and indoor dining to occur when people are dying in droves.
Who is everyone’s alderman? Mine is Waguespack, who seems unremarkable but is a part of the progressive reform council. On either side i have Carlos Ramirez-Rosa and Rossana Rodriguez. As a DSA member i feel like I should move like two blocks north to be in Rossana’s ward.
Matt Martin, who seems is the most progressive, non-DSA alderman. Prob more DSA than Vasquez since the latter voted for the austerity budget.
My alderman is Brian Hopkins. He’s alright. I’ve never personally met him though but I don’t hear many bad things about him.
