Does anyone have any recs for outside dining? Places that have spacious patios that are following all the rules. Preferably on the north side basically anywhere from Old Town to Rogers Park.
Wisconsin getting added to quarantine which is all well and good but here we are averaging 1,400 cases a day in the state and everything is open due to these joke guidelines
My soon to be sister in law is a CPS teacher and she backs that up 100%. They were spit balling split classes between remote and in person and it seemed like a giant mess.
My mom also teaches in the burbs and for some reason they're doing fully remote... from inside the building
I guess some parents were complaining that the teachers wouldn't be "working" enough if they got to remote teach from home so they want them to have to do it in the building. My mom told me one parent even suggested that if they worked from home they should have to wear ankle bracelets so they're not going anywhere or fooling around during the school day which is flat out some of the most insane shit I've ever heard. She works in a fairly affluent suburb for what it's worth, something something eat the rich
People I know are suggesting that teachers be paid less if they work from home, since the "child care" component of physically being in a school is gone. Morons.
Screaming into the void that Illinois is topping 2k cases a day now and this toothless 11-region system means restrictions will basically never get re-imposed.
Literally was right there lounging during the week with not a soul within 100+ feet of me. Thanks for ruining it assholes!
