i work for amazon and every amazon is closed from 11 tonight through sometime thursday because of the cold

We were just told to work from home (not that anyone would have come in anyway). My wife’s school already called off tomorrow and Thursday too.

I just got a red light ticket in the mail. I thought these were now illegal or whatever? Did they come back?

 

I don't know much about ticketing itself, but I still see the flashes for drivers that run redlights.

 

I thought it was just the speeding cameras that they could only do warnings for, but I don't really know.

 

Closer inspection and yeah it’s a speeding ticket.

 

Not sure why I didn't post this sooner, but you should all come out to Burlington Bar tonight for "emo night." TBS, Saves the Day, and Jimmy Eat World cover sets. Doors at 8, show at 9, we (TBS) play first!!

Does Burlington normally host nights like this? I would for sure be down fora future show.

What ever happened to the booking company House C all Entertainment? Seems like one day they just stopped booking shows and Kickstand took over despite booking a lot of the same bands Kickstand books.

I’m moving in two weeks and already packed most of my winter clothes, so of course it’s snowing today.

 

All rain by me but have to go downtown later and not looking forward to the traffic

 

The city is flat out snowing. Total horseshit.

 

The $20 LiveNation ticket deal is great until you realize how a decent portion of big shows are hitting the venue in Tinley Park and then you realize it’s not great because that’s the worst.

Whose idea was it to build a huge music venue in a town that has very little public transportation to Chicago and none near the venue? /facepalm

I was excited for that at first but even if i go to Tinley Park i do not want to be on the lawn or way up high in the Pavilion, it ruins the whole show for me. Those $20 tickets are a joke.
