I love how since LJG has been living in Chi AM! can just do these local festivals like WP and 312 so easily

  11. Music Lineup 2018

Full Wicker Park Fest schedule. Catch me on the center stage Sunday at 5:30 playing bass for Mark Rose! It’s the day after my wedding so I’ll be exhausted but I couldn’t pass up playing this.

Christ, the lineup this year for Wicker Park Fest is phenomenal.

He wrenches on it. He thinks it's his.

My office bought a bunch of Vienna products and served Chicago-style dogs to us for lunch. I ate two and now feel a food coma coming on. If only I could slam an Old Style right now...

Does anyone know if there's parking around Thalia Hall? Never been.

    Give what you can.

Goddammit we are so spoiled with these free(ish) street fests.

  20. Just street parking but most of it free from what I remember. I’ve always been able to park within three blocks or so and not had to pay.

I need to see The Hold Steady. I can't remember who I missed them for at Riot a few years back

Yes you do. Their shows seriously have the potential to be life changing- even more so now that they only play a few times a year. Plus Drive By Truckers- it's gonna be incredible.

Alternate take - I went to a show a month ago and it took me so long to park I had to give up and pay $15 in a random lot to make sure I didn't miss the first band's whole set.

Unless the neighborhood has gotten significantly busier over the last few months, I usually park on 18th Street down where it intersects with Peoria. There's always ample parking there if you're coming directly from the Dan Ryan...it is about a 15 minute walk to Thalia from there though. Just an FYI.
