Represent. I'm seeing The Thermals at Lincoln Hall in a couple of weeks and I'm seeing Kyle Kinane film his special at The Metro in May. Also, since this is a Chicago thread I'm gonna throw this out there: A couple of buddies of mine and I started a 16" softball team. It's co-ed and we def need one more girl and possibly another dude or two. Season starts 4/24 and is 8 weeks long. It's one game a week and they'll be played on Sundays between 9am and noon. Games will be played in Lincoln Park on the fields right off LSD. Our team name is Drive Thru Wreckers, and as you might imagine, our team theme is early 00's pop punk. Hit me up for further info. We are not competitive.
I'm in a few: City Mouth Movies About Animals Pelafina And I sometimes play bass for Mark Rose (ex-Spitalfield)
Speaking of Sundays, I'm going to the White Sox game this Sunday. High of 47 with a 40% chance of rain. Awesome. That said, we're going 162-0 this year.
Subbin, lived in or around Chicago my whole life till I moved to Canada in September. Gonna be back in a couple weeks though and am seeing IIOI and Enter Shikari so I'm stoked.
I may be coming home for last week of August. My goal is to catch Weird Al in Rockford. Dreams...may come true.
its done!!! i think we are gonna be releasing details in the coming week about it. at some point i feel i might just start sending it out to people. haha
my sister used to live in chicago - she was a beluga trainer at Shedd. chicago is, hands down, my favorite city in the US. If there is one piece of advice to anyone looking to go there: if you like mexican food you MUST get a reservation at frontera. Rick Bayless | Frontera Grill | Frontera one of the best meals of my life.
