Said that allllll the time as a kid and even did the little foot kickback to close the front door. I definitely got the Uncle Frank cocktail, which was a joused up Old Fashioned.

I am ready to get rid of the ice and start fresh in the new year. I welcome the oncoming 40 degree weather.
Meanwhile I have a friend coming this week from California whobis terrified of the 40 degree weather. His band is doing a mini tour and they are playing a show.
Tell them what I always say to my native Floridian wife when she (rightfully) complains about the cold: "It builds character!"
