Man, I was visiting my parents in Des Plaines for the holidays. They’re looking for a cat to adopt, so we went to several cat rescues. Went to this one called Famous Fido. The place literally stinks, but the cats and volunteers were so nice. We were about to adopt this cat named Boone who was very sweet, but the owner of place is this old lady who bungled everything in the communication process, my dad got pissed and pulled our application for the cat. So if you’re looking for a sweet cat in Chicago, try and get Boone from Famous Fido and get him out of that place.
Drove back from the Salt Shed on 290 towards the west suburbs, hit a pothole and my tire exploded. What a way to stink up a great evening. Chicago roads are so bad.

Not sure they are canceling flights just because of temperatures... It's usually issues with visibility and other situations that would make the flight unsafe
