I am reading the sci-fi book Dark Matter and it takes place in Chicago. The narrator keeps saying that Village Tap is in Logan Square, where he lives, and he is constantly referring to it as "my watering hole". That place is in Roscoe Village, my man! It's driving me nuts.

With the obvious exception of this first half of December essentially, which has been colder and snowier than average, the winters here are getting kind of sad with how warm and dry they are getting. Snow is going to be melted before Xmas with the warm up coming. Would take this any day over the insane heat in summers in the majority of the country now.
