At my first show at The Outset. Place is awesome. Might start to contest with Sleeping Village for me soon. What an embarrassment of riches we have here in terms of cool venues.

That said - Tororice’s is mine and my wife’s go-to. Forever slept on.

Rosati’s is good stuff. I delivered pizzas for them for a while as a teenager, then later on when I worked for Starbucks there was one right next to our store and we’d trade food with them

I hadn't been paying much attention to the weather because of everything else but yeah, that's nice to see actual fall temperatures on the forecast.

he’ll live forever in the sound of broken glass

That’s much lower rent than i see in my neighborhood/my friend’s neighborhoods. My three bed is $2200/mo. But i wouldn’t be surprised if you could find stuff like that somewhere in the city, that’d be a steal though. Chicago is more affordable than most of the other biggest cities in the country, and the music scene is great, but also not immune from the ridiculous cost of living increases happening everywhere else.

That said? Move here and hang out, Hal Jones.

I was gonna say that rent is cheaper than my $1325 1b1b in the Tampa suburbs. Maybe one day. Hopefully.

$2200 is the average price of a 2 bedroom here.

$1200/ month for that much space is wild. I wonder where in the city it is. I currently pay $1050/ month for a 400 sq ft studio

Oh fuck nevermind it's a $2500 loft in Garfield Park. OP was fucking with people.
