Will never get tired of seeing this amazing city being celebrated.

 

I also really like that a lot of people are seeing how cool Chicago is

 

Like with every major event we have, it's great to show that Chicago really is the best city in the country.

 

it was a great time but taping didn’t start until 11:30 due to DNC running long. We didn’t head home until 2AM. On a school night!

 

I have tickets tonight for Colbert but I can't dedicate that much time to it.

 

Chicago, yet again, shows itself to be the best fucking place when on the world stage.

 

I'm torn between never wanting Chicago to host the Olympics and also knowing it would be a really cool showcase of the city.

 

If we had the venues like LA, I'd be for it. We simply don't have the sheer number of facilities needed.

Now that being said...with more regionally focused Olympics being a possibility, maybe it's something worth considering if you can include SE Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, even further if one really wants.

 

People in Chicago go insane when there is a Nascar race in downtown for a weekend, imagine what would have happened if you practically close down the city for 3 weeks, not to mention all the construction that would happen years in advance.

 

Another show the week of riot fest and this one is gonna be a good one

Just dropping in to say, damn, i love Hopewell’s thc/cbd drink “choom”

 

My wife doesn’t drink anymore and is on a THC journey now and she loves Choom. I just discovered that Binny’s has an INSANE THC drink selection.

 

If anyone is looking for plans on Friday, I’m playing my first show with the band Loa Hex at Underground Lounge. I’ll be the dude smashing the drums.

will be flying into chicago for the evening this saturday. still bummed that la gunitas brewery closed down. a must stop every time i'm there. short evening is probably gonna go like this: land at 4, nando's, white sox game, lou malnati's, a bar or two, and then closing down a barcade (3am) before takin the train back to the airport for a 5:30 take off home.

Jimmy’s Pizza Cafe Is Adding A Speakeasy This Fall

 

They had to do something with all that space. Jimmy's is overpriced and just OK in my opinion.

Also - is any dimly lit bar/restaurant just a speakeasy now? Lame.
