What was the reason they were escorted out in the first place? Or did she conveniently leave that out of her vid
Not big on electoral politics, but here’s the official Importer/Exporter Voting Guide for anyone who hasn’t voted yet: 1) Vote for the Bring Chicago Home initiative 2) Vote against Iris Martinez whenever you can
I'm so happy I mailed in my ballot two weeks ago because all the mailers and soliciters completley stopped.
Speaking of Bloomington, I'm making the trip from Chicago to the Castle Theater in 2 months. Anything worth knowing before going there?
Who are you seeing there? I guess the one thing to know in advance is that the floor is tiered and has railings everywhere, so it’s not just a big pit area. Never bothered me, but some people hate it. Tons of good food within a few blocks (I can give you some recommendations if you want) and bars if that’s your thing.
Going to see Revis, they are reuniting for some shows. One of my all time favorite bands. They are from Carbondale and they announced 3 shows, one in KY, one in Herrin, IL and one in Bloomington. Never had a chance to see them so I'm taking the trip. Thanks for the info, I'll probably need something to eat since I'll be driving for awhile.
Oh awesome. One of my friends lived next door to their bassist as a kid so I’m sure he’ll be there too. Rosie’s, El Porton, and Lucca are all great and within a few blocks depending on what kind of food you want.
The free/donation music festivals in Chicago are one of the most underrated things about living in Chicago
