LOL I love the bears but honestly fuck any team that wants a bajillion dollar stadium and wants taxpayers to support any of the infrastructure changes.
I have never had Four Loko somehow but as a person who's had the Malört Spritzer I guess I also have to try it.
Add a cup of sugar, 2 cups of Monster, and 3 shots of blue curacao to the Spritzer and it'll be close to the same thing.
Four Loko is truly god awful. I've yet to try a malort sprtizer My most obnoxious take is that I actually kinda like malort. Like I'm not saying it tastes good, but the point I always make is that it's just kind of a weird taste, but it doesn't have as much burn as other shots, which is the worst part for me.
Both riot fest and re:set got their permits approved so they will happen as planned and riot rest got passed with “unanimous approval” from the board members
I gotta say getting to Riis park (and especially back) does not seem like a blast and is making me consider not going haha Am I missing anything or is my only real option to just sit on the bus for 45-1 hour Edit: Jk I can take the metra line I take to my parents crisis averted
Evanston is cool but there are some areas you probably want to avoid. Try looking into something closer to a CTA station (around Davis is the best). I used to live in Skokie for a few years, I love that area.
Place I’m looking at is on Chicago and Main, looked nice from what I can tell but we’ll see, my girlfriend up there will be touring it Sunday . I’ll check Davis out too.
That's a pretty good area, just try not going too much south from there, that will get you closer to the city.
Considering looking at apartments in Chicago anyone know any good sources besides the typical Craigslist search?
I got someone to sublet my place after putting it up on Zillow. Outside of Craigslist, I'd say that, the similar Trulia, and Facebook Marketplace are probably your best bet for renting from an individual owner/tenant. Then, just browsing Domu, HotPads, PadMapper, etc. as property management companies sometimes don't post their listings on all of them (though, they usually do). Probably aren't going to find positive opinions about any of the property management companies but I personally don't have any horror stories, thankfully. Good luck!
If you are only able to look online what was mentioned previously is your best bet. If you are are able to look in person I recommend an apartment finding company as well. I used a company called Chicago Apartment Finders, which was under Coldwell Banker at the time. Not sure if any of those kind of companies are still around, but I had a really good experience with them.
