seen chevelle at least half a dozen times. have met them several times. have several setlists and picks from shows. they opened for nickelback alot in the beginning of the decade. from front to back 9b-sides included), vena sera might be their best work. but don't sleep on that bridge in 'get some'. massive live.
I feel like Paint the Seconds doesn't ever get any love and it's one of my favorites. I think it would have made a good single, esp over The Fad.
They seem to be one of those bands that have been touring non stop since their first album. I'm sure you will get your chance! They come by where I am at at least every 2 years.
Hey everyone, got a question about 12 Bloody Spies. I've listened to the tracks here as well as the corresponding ones on the original releases. I can't figure out, though: what's the difference between these and the original ones? I know this is labeled as a b-side-and-remix album, but other than a couple songs, these sound identical to the originals. Anyone know?
I've had almost all these songs for years already and haven't noticed any difference. I thought it was just the collection of B-sides that were already released, no remixes. I wouldn't count The Clincher as a remix as it sounds like it's a totally different song honestly.

I feel like Deftones, Chevelle, and Incubus were the undisputed champions of alt metal in the early 2000s and all deserved respect for what they contributed to the genre!
It’s never gonna happen but I would love for Chevelle to really push themselves and do something bonkers. I think Vena Sera was them showing that they could do stuff out of their element but I want them to go further. But I feel at this point they have a sound and they are comfortable with it. Which is fine, but I’d like more
I know they have it in them. I’m saying they probably won’t go for it tho. But I hope they prove me wrong! Cause that would be awesome
