Has anyone seen them live? I've passed up the opportunity at least twice because I'm dumb.

I finally saw em for the first time last summer and they crushed. Heavy af

 

I've seen them a ton. Last time was a bit ago though. They opened with Grab Thy Hand which was unexpected but fuck was it incredible.

I saw them open for The Offspring once. A lot of noise for just 3 dudes!

 

I'm surprised they haven't added a 4th person for live shows tbh

 

they don’t really need too. dean and pete’s sound is fucking huge

 

Yeah, I haven't seen em live so I can't really say. But there are a decent amount of songs, especially stuff from Vena Sera that sound like they would benefit from two guitars.

 

I dunno how he does it, but Pete pulls off singing while nailing his guitar parts.

 

Looking back through some stuff it looks like I’ve seen them 6 times, but only once headlining (most were festivals)

When they headlined, O’Brother supported which was awesome

 

i would actually kill for this lineup again

they're (the current brothers in the band) happen to be my cousins. Fun stuff.

Listened to a lot of Chevelle this week. I'd have to say the most underrated (great songs that don't really play live and no one really talks about) track from each album are:

WWN - Don't Fake This
TTOT - Breach Birth
Vena Sera - Paint the Seconds
Sci-Fi Crimes - Mexican Sun
HOTTB - Envy
La Gargola - Choking Game or One Ocean (hard to chose)
TNC - Punchline

I'll see any band there, but question whether or not I'll see a band I like somewhere else lol

 

Just a good video I found. Forfit sounds so good live.

 

think "saferwaters" is my favorite off of vena sera. one of their most underrated.

After this thread renewed my interest in the band I've been listening to them quite a lot lately. I think I can say with certainty that I don't like The North Corridor at all.
