I've seen the first three episodes. It's harrowing and unsettling and very, very well made.

Yeah glad there’s a thread. This looks really good, and I’ll surely forget to start with all the great tv airing.

That was bleak and harrowing as fuck. The lack of score throughout most of it made everything feel suffocating.

Really excited for this. I couldn’t watch tonight but I’m making it a priority this week.

The part where the guy on the roof looks down into the core then turns around and his face is already bleeding is beyond disturbing.

Don’t know how I feel about this having a true supervillain type, but I also know almost nothing about how terribly the people in charge acted. I just feel like that’s a little over the top, when there’s enough drama just from the situation naturally.

Are you referring to the ultra guff main dude in charge who left vomiting?

I'm thinking/hoping that his ultra bravado attitude was more a result of being in utter disbelief and didn't know how to admit something truly unheard of was happening. I hope we see his realization of this going forward.

Yep, basically that and the over the top bunker speech with Maester Luwin. The level of lies and bureaucracy and disbelief was portrayed super well for the most part, there were just a few lines that struck me as out of place and only there for the sake of having a TV villain.

    this was amazing.

  21. Damn that was heavy. Really great start to this.

Seeing the kids play while the wind picks up slightly fucked me up. That scene was shot beautifully. Whole ep was shot and directed really well actually.

So many of the scenes are so haunting and have stuck with me since I watched. Not even necessarily the most graphic ones but just a few that are so full of dread and doom and hopelessness. It’s all very suffocating.
