are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Album is pretty awesome. It's a lot heavier than I thought it would be. The Aaron Turner guest spot was also a nice surprise.

Some sweet doomy riffs on this. That being said, I hope she releases another acoustic album sometime soon. Unknown Rooms is still my favorite record of hers.

I want to like this album more than I do. Maybe in time.

Chelsea Wolfe and Kurt Ballou is a match made directly from the fantasies of me and @Drew Beringer

It was dark! The Culling and Twin Fawn grabbed me the most first listen. Not sure if I like the record yet. It reminded me a lot of the first time I listened to Daisy/Gore (first Deftones album for me) where I didn't know exactly what was happening or if I liked it but was willing to keep at it to understand

I felt that way with Pain Is Beauty, which came out in 2013. I've been a casual fan since then, but this album really grabbed me. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but once Twin Fawn hit I was sucked into her world and I immediately relistened to the album after my first listen. Been hooked since.
