This tour is a big maybe for me. Need to check out Gideon again, I remember liking them but they never stuck.

Screw this, only want to see INK and thought they would be doing a headliner.

I like basically every band on this tour, but Chelsea Grin need to have better wording when they hype up their tours. "Heaviest tour we've ever had" makes me think a full on deathcore/death metal lineup.

    but does it djent?

Agreed. They could've done better. They've had heavier tours. One of which I remember was with Carnifex, Black Tongue, and Sworn In.

Despised Icon is on the Montreal date according to Ice Nine Kills' Facebook post about the tour.

That's one week after their tour with Carnifex ends. I wonder why they're only doing one date on this tour. Maybe because the Carnifex tour doesn't hit Montreal?

I mean they are local so it could just be as simple as that

    Signal Vs. Noise Prestigious

I though Chelsea Grin was bigger than this. Did they lose a bunch of steam?

Not the biggest CG fan, but INK and Enterprise Earth make this worth checking out.

So it turns out Despised Icon isn't opening the Montreal date...they are headlining it.

    but does it djent?

Considering they're skipping venues they used to play almost every tour I'd say they've gotten bigger. They're not the biggest band in deathcore right now but they're darn close.

Might be a Portland thing then, cause the venue in Portland is incredibly small. Like my shitty little band headlines that venue.

  15. bstadtfeld

    but does it djent?

Must be because they used to always play Indianapolis and aside from Warped tour haven't played IN since May 2015.

Chelsea Grin has definately grown in popularity. This a good headlining tour for them. The last few times I saw them they were opening for Motionless in white and Amity in the same size venues.

Hawthorne is already booked that night also. I'm sure that's the venue they had in mind and Analog was the next best choice.
