This is so fucking good, may prefer it to the debut and I REALLY liked that thing.

 

Call Your Mom and Crying Back are so good

 

I only discovered this band somewhat recently so I need to go back and spend more time with the debut.

 

I've been listening to this all day lol

 

enjoyed the first one well enough but digging this quite a bit more, really clever/funny

 

This rules. Much more consistent than Therapy Island imo

 

"Don't Get Hit By a Car" reminds me of

 

damn sounds like I gotta check it out

 

just found out about these guys and instantly hooked. What a sound

 

I wish I liked the vocals more but it’s growing

 

A few songs in, and this is the mind meld of Talking Heads and Dismemberment Plan that I didn't know I needed.

 

I honestly don’t know if I hate this or love it but some of it is genuinely hilarious

 

I absolutely love this album in small doses. If I go beyond listening to more than five songs in a row, I get so annoyed. I don't think I've ever had this kind of a reaction to an album. Based on that alone, Cheekface deserves any accolades and attention they receive.

hmm I actually think this is fucking awesome but it is certainly annoying

 

I enjoy this album a lot but I definitely understand where people are coming from about it being annoying or only being able to listen to some of it in one sitting. I honestly can’t think of many other albums like that haha.

 

This is such a unique album: It's like The Talking Heads met the Front Bottoms and made a record then asked Rivers Cuomo to produce it. I could see the almost spoken word vocals getting grating with repeat listens.

 

Uhh this band is ridiculous and good. Sometimes I wonder how bands like this avoid me for so long.
