So, Chomsky is giving his first talk in Boston since I've lived there this week, but I'm at home for spring break this week.

And a friend of mine was going to go and report back for me, but it turns out the event page didn't make clear that while the event was free, you did need tickets, until all the tickets were sold out.

@nothingsforeverdude do you have any of the writings on anarchism by Christian from Hotelier about anarchism on hand? or are they all buried in blogs somewhere? definitely interested

 

i'll try to dig them up but i don't think he's written anything about anarchism longform since ~2012, and even then they were like replies to questions they were getting from an ancap about the ethics of an anarchist being on food stamps

Yeah there's some good stuff there, I definitely understand how that kickstarted an interest in the subject for you. Nothing, like, groundbreaking but solid analysis and debunking of stupid ancap bs. I need to get more into the band
