was listening to Grimace real loud with my windows open and immediately went to my car to grab something and my old conservative neighbor was sitting on the porch and asked if i was okay haha
I don't really listen to "sludge" but this is pretty interesting. Not sure if I'm gonna go back it it a lot but I'm enjoying it more than I expected. Props to the pitchfork review just teaching me what a "chat pile" was "toxic mine tailings—200-foot-high heaps of contaminated gravel known as chat piles. "
Two songs in... this isn't something I'd normally go out of my way to listen to, but it's perfectly fitting the dark/fall/Halloween vibe I'm feeling. The sludge is sweet.
This is unlike anything else I've heard before. I don't enjoy it per se but I have been listening fairly frequently. Truly unsettling. Dallas Beltway from their earlier EP is horrifically listenable.
