I honestly can't get the first line of Chatroom out of my head. I think the verses are even catchier than the choruses on a lot of this album!

 

This album is unreal. I love it so much. Very excited to see them next month now!

Man people on Reddit kind of hate this, wow. I just went back and listened to Guppy and...I like this way more? Am I crazy?

 

Definitely surprising to me, it feels like a natural progression from Guppy to be honest. I’m happy they didn’t fully pivot to 80’s pop/synthpop like I thought they might.

 

Luckily reddit sucks

The solo in Capacity is absolutely timeless

 

Okay, this is incredible. Guppy is one of my favorites of the last couple years, it's such an easy breezy listen and it's one of my go-to driving records. This one, however, shows such huge growth over Guppy, I almost can't believe it. The back half is especially stunning. Hurt Me fucks me up, and Chatroom and Hard To Believe have some of my favorite CB choruses. I loved Eva's vocals on Guppy, but I do really like the more refined sound she's going for vocally on this album (ex. Hurt Me). This is going to be something I'll be listening to all summer and beyond. So proud of this band.

Also I think the chorus on The Truth is one of the best of the year
