I honestly thought a new Charly record would be announced by now. Hopefully, it gets announced before the year is over. Young Enough is fantastic and I can’t wait to see how they follow it up.
It definitely got slowed down because Eva has been living in Australia for like a year and a half haha
Trying to not judge that new song too hard cause.. it’s instrumentally lacking hardcore IMO. This is from someone who loves Young Enough too.
Plus it's a poorly recorded live version. Theres almost no chance they can live up to young enough (favorite album of 2019).
That’s true about the recording but I really do hope their next LP is just as strong as Young Enough or better.
They've been fairly quiet the past 2+ years at this point. Anyone have any insight of what's up. Rumblings of a new album? They haven't been playing or announcing shows really either
They have a fairly active Patreon and should be well into if not complete with the next album at this point I think. I know it was started awhile ago
Eva was visiting her partner in Australia when covid hit and she was stuck there for like at least a year so they weren't really able to start working on new music until last summer or fall but we should get something this year
Ah good answers everyone! Its felt so strange considering 2019 was their biggest year and time do so little since. i want them to keep the ball rolling.
saw them last night opening for jimmy eat world they slayed as expected and played a bunch of new songs also said they've been recording their new album in minneapolis which is cool
