This album has REALLY got my attention this week and I love it. It’s literally the perfect summer album.

However, I was all excited to show my girlfriend and my friends but none are feeling it. They are very critical on the vocals which bums me out I can’t share it with people I know.

 

But the vocals are so good

 

I know. It upsets me.

 

The vocals took me a while to warm up to

 

I really love the vocals, but they are what I worry about when I try and share this band with others irl. They are definitely "alternative".

 

the first time I heard them I was like oh that's her voice but I love it now and how it sounds like Renee Zellweger in Empire Records

 

Vocals were never an issue for me

 

Some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet

 

These guys were incredible last night. I don't think they expected as many people to be there, and they seemed genuinely super excited about it, especially Eva. Her performance on Hurt Me was suuuuper powerful.

oh and I got to hang out with @Mary V who is great!

 

It was a pleasure to meet you!

This is my #1 "want to hang out with" band

returning to this constantly. the truth is one of my fav songs of the year. feels massive and intimate at the same time. wonderful and climactic closer
