i walked home from work yesterday just so i could listen to this for the first time in my headphones. it's a really fun album! her voice is so unique. i'm on my second listen right now. "glitter" is an early favorite.

EDIT: actually, i could say any song on here is an early favorite. they're all hitting me a lot harder on this second go around! gasp!

I kind of forgot about this record, but I'm revisiting it right now and it is a total blast. The first four songs are unreal.

 

Yeah, this album is probably secured in my top 10 for the year. At least top 20.

I stand by that statement. The amount of energy and positively on that stage made it impossible not to smile through their entire set. I'm tempted to make the trip to DC Thursday to catch them again.
