    I'm in love with the ordinary

    Pretty far removed from his usual solo work but I like it, it's a good song.

    I just honestly want Fightstar back, I love all of his musical endeavors but I need more Fightstar the most. It's been over five years at this point. Every time he finishes up working on something I think ... "yeah, Fightstar time" but it never happens.

    This is really good. Is he releasing another solo album or what? Would love another Charlie solo. Or Fightstar. Or both.

    Apparently he's been working on Fightstar material for a few years now, but the (fight)stars have to align for all of them. Two of them are doing Gunship stuff, and the drummer is doing acting work nowadays.

    I love Charlie, but as great as he is with verses and choruses (not to mention his always-wonderful singing), he remains just....so bad at writing bridges. That's always the part of his songs where he loses me. The best songs from Young Pilgrim end after the second chorus. Nevertheless, excited to get the third proper solo album from him!
