Surprise solo album from 1/2 of Hovvdy!

 

Oh fuck! This just jumped to top priority tomorrow!

 

My plan was to listen to Girl In Red->Origami Angel->Manchester Orchestra then everything else tomorrow but this arrived and I had to listen. It's very good!

This is so good. Came out the weekend my kid was born so finally getting around to it with real attention. It was actually the first album I listened to in the hospital

 

He played some songs on IG yesterday. Did not realize this dude had such big Woody Harrelson energy lol. Very southern and very calming. He confirms that vinyl will come next year and that for anyone interested in learning his songs, they’re all in open E tuning with various capo placements

I listened to this for the first time on my run this evening, beautiful little album. No great departure from hovvdy but that's no bad thing. Madison was my favourite, gorgeous.
