It's a single from the guy from Capsule who happens to produce Kyary's albums. Released in Japan this morning. It's on spotify under his name Yasutaka Nataka.

I love it, it feels more like a Perfume song than a Kyary Pamyu Pamyu one instrumentally imo.

 

Gotta admit, the song is growing on me

September? Who releases a single a year before the fucking album? I'm all for taking time and getting it right but goddamn that's annoying

 

Over a year ago she announced that she was finishing her album

 

After the afterparty needs to bleed up more. My favorite pop song of 2016...and it came out towards the end of the year

 

Yeah I love Afterparty, but it seemed to have kinda been DOA sadly. Charli has had a tough time with finding another big hit since Suker-era

 

It was all over the radio when I was in the uk...but yeah here not so much. Which is really strange considering if this were Miley it would be blown up

 

Maybe it was timing too? Tough to say, looks like it never even charted at all in the US

 

It's crazy how and who these companies decide to push and promote

She's on Kimmel tonight and she has video of AG Cook on her instagram while there, maybe new song? Maybe mixtape announce? Maybe mixtape drop?!?!

Looks like she performed "After The Afterparty" for the show and "Bounce" for an internet bonus video

 

So she's pulling a Tinashe by releasing a mixtape maybe today, and releasing the album way way later ? Not that I'm upset, but I hope she isn't having any troubles.

 

I think the mixtape is coming later this month, and she said it's to tide people over for the full album which she's been working on for a while, so yeah Tinashe-esque minus the part where Tinashe came out with the mixtape with no warning
