Not huge on the other 3 but really enjoy all of them and enjoying being continuously surprised

i have pretty much really disliked everything shes done post pop2. dunno whats going on.

 

5 in the Morning is the only one that’s not a 10/10

 

these tracks all feel like a natural extension from n1a/pop2 so i'm surprised that some aren't enjoying them.

 

yeah. I think I might enjoy it more in the context of an actual release. I just don't find myself interested in listening to any of these songs on their own.

 

definitely agree with this. Pop2 was incredible because of how the songs all fit a certain vibe and aesthetic, almost like it was a concept album. Listening to these out of context diminishes their impact to me, but like I said I still like em

 

GNO and No Angel are both pretty old songs for what it's worth, I don't know about the other two, but GNO and No Angel are at least from 2016 if not earlier

 

5 In the Morning is whatever, GNO is pretty fun I like it, and I think No Angel and Focus are both great

 

oooh GNO is definitely different from the leaked version, honestly it loses a bit of the high octane energy

 

Idk man, the heavy bass about blew out my (new) sound system in the car this morning lol.

 

Yeah, I mean bass can be at a thousand and that doesn't mean it's higher energy

 

I think I get what you mean though... like they could've tidied up the production a bit or something and made a few things "pop" a little more. Idk, the production is... different for sure.

It definitely translates well into a live setting though, it always feels high energy when she performs it.

 

100% agree, her playing it live is a literal party

 

I think part of the reason is it's always a tad faster live... which I don't fully understand... like all of her current era songs have had like a 5% tempo bump live and it always sounds great, but then the studio versions come out and they feel like they drag just a bit.

Just something I noticed... idk.

 

Don’t really like this one. No Angel is my favorite of the recent spate of songs.

Focus might be one of my all time favorite Charli songs. Fuck "In My Feelings," we need a viral dance challenge to this one.
