This is awesome, surprisingly both a lot similar to True Love and to the latest EP, while exploring some uncharted sounds. I also thought it would be weirder but I guess Sophie didn't produce and cowrite the mixtape so it was to be expected. My favorite songs change each listen, it's crazy how good she is at so many styles. She's so versatile. I want to write music for her lol
It's actually all really good, I pretty much hit play as soon as it's done which I haven't done with a record in a while The synths in Lipgloss make me feel a lot of things, which is something to be said for a song about sticky fucking
It's the first release I like front to back. There's usually one of two songs I don't care for, not this time.
Extremely short tour wow. Hopefully she'll play a larger one in support of the album, assuming it still comes this year. Also I wish she had her Sucker-era live band still. They were great!
Damn idk if I have to go to the Paris date or if I should wait for the full lenght to come out, I guess she'll do a true European tour afterwards
i definitely like this a whole lot more than sucker of which i could only listen to once and never again apart from like 3 songs. this mixtape is what i like about charli's sound.
@brandon_260 this basically means Bounce is on the record right? Maybe it's gonna be a little wilder than we first thought
This is what I'm assuming. That song is so much crazier than anything here. It could fit perfectly on the EP.
I mean, perhaps, but to take a song to late night and never release it would be a very strange move. I'm not used to liking artists with management and PR and shit but it'd be a pretty stupid move on their end
yeah, see "Superlove" first off, also the song wasn't really on late night, it was a web exclusive, Afterparty was what aired. So it could have just been a weird bonus that she felt like performing for a number of reasons
