pretty blown away by this after my first listen

 

First 9 tracks are perfection.

 

It’s wild how she can switch from brat mode to something elegant like this with ease. This is very good.

I’m blown away by this. The production is insane. I mostly liked the more introspective songs on brat. This is much more my thing.

 

Yeah this is incredible. I’d kill for a short run of shows with an orchestra

Love all the orchestral elements in these songs. Funny Mouth is a great closer.

 

also now remembering that she made music with Jack Antonoff for another movie's soundtrack, which is out in a few months. I assume it's not a full length album again, but at least a few songs

 

This is way better than I anticipated and perfect for a cold, grey day. Should’ve known better than doubting her but in my defense, it was a soundtrack album for a movie I’m not very interested in seeing… forgive me, Charli!

 

she said she's been thinking about officially releasing XCX World.....

 

This soundtrack or album or whatever you want to call it has really grown on me recently. Very good listen.

Charli xcx Team Clarifies Sky Ferreira Wuthering Heights Credit Claim

"Charli has yet to reply, and her team confirms she is currently in Kyoto filming a movie and finishing her forthcoming new studio album."

 

This was the context for the Sky issue

 

Gonna wait for the whole thing to play out but on the surface, it seems like it would be extremely weird for Charli to use Skye’s voice and song without her clearance and permission, especially considering how she’s one of two vocalists on the album that’s not Charli and has a feature credit.
