I'm a bit bummed that Dread is the only track that incorporates Charli lyrics, I was hoping for more along those lines, OH WELL

Conan makes sense to interview Charli because even if she’s not his thing, he can make a solid interview out of nothing. It makes no sense to have any of these rich middle-aged dorks talk to her.

So this album is fucking great. It feels less like a movie soundtrack and more like her actual follow up to brat.

 

i've heard it's in a similar vein to True Romance, and as someone who got into her shortly after that album cycle ended (around the time SuperLove dropped), it makes me really excited to hear the full thing.
