Yeah I think it's really hard to really read too much into when an artist talks about their new material sounding like their old material, it rarely ever is true. I can't imagine her making music like that album again, but could totally understand how she could be re-influenced on her personal mindset back then, and take cues from it for new music

 

She seems too interested in the "future" for her to just jump back and create more that just draws from her old sound, so I'm very curious to hear how this turns out.

 

I'm expecting it to perhaps be more in the vein of True Romance from a lyrical standpoint, less so sonically.

Charli gonna be a guest judge on the upcoming season of Drag Race All Stars. Truly love to see it. Wonder what song of hers they'll lip sync to. Most entertaining option would be "Lipgloss," imo, but I'm guessing they'll use either "Vroom Vroom," "Boys," or "Gone." Fairly certain they filmed this season prior to "Unlock It" blowing up on TikTok.
