I didn't like Shake It at first but it grew on me. Still probs my least favourite on that album after I cut BIOYL.

 

From midway to the end 2099 worked for me.

It’s just whenever it gets too pop-tropey and prototypical radio shit that I tend to bail.

 

Gone is definitely my fave song in a long ass time

 

Banger...

 

Like incredible the breathy note in the verse

 

That one-two punch at the start of Charli is the strongest consecutive nearly seven minutes in her discography, imo. Such an absolutely flawless kickoff to an album.

 

And, I'm still Team "Blame It On Your Love" Is Good Actually, but whatever, lol.

Just super tough to peak so early in a 15 song endeavor lol

 

The stuff you haven't seemed to like is like her least radio friendly stuff though. It seems to be the super distorted banger shit.

I just mean, those first two specifically are both individually in my top tier of Charli XCX songs. And, work together very well. If I made a playlist, it'd open w/ those two together.

I’ll be hard pressed to find a Charli song I like as much as gone now lol

 

You’d probably like Number 1 Angel a bunch. It’s very very catchy and less....weird than Pop 2.

 

Out of my head is a bop too...don’t LOVE the actual background vocal on the chorus but it doesn’t take me completely out

 

The end is kinda wack though
