Not sure how I feel about this one, may need to give it a few more listens.

I like "Baby," and I think there are elements to it that would put it up there with "New Shapes," but I think the song suffers from the same thing as "Beg For You": It just never really elevates at any moment. Feels too short. I think both "Baby" and "Beg For You" would gain from some sort of big, sweeping bridge, especially if she is leaning into a more mainstream sound with this album.

And hard agree on the Twitter comments. Charli, log off. That shit is beneath you and not a good look to be up in a random person's mentions.

I'm curious how this album will feel as a collective piece and if some of these tracks that I have found a bit lackluster in some ways will come to life a bit more with the full context of the other tracks

 

I like the previous three songs a lot more than Baby, but maybe it’ll grow on me

The new song is really good.

I wish artists would stay off Twitter. It's bad for my mental health and I can only imagine how much worse it must be for public figures. People also need to understand that their favorite artists are people - it's actual humans whose art they're insulting when they choose to do that! Obviously criticism can be valid and people should feel free to express their opinions, but I do wish people would think twice before knocking something online.

 

All of the songs are great and this album will rule.

 

Love Charli but this chorus ain't it.

If this is what she says is the best song on the album...oh boy.
