Blame It's chorus goes so hard
blame it on your love has always been good, it'll just never measure up to track 10 which is like totally fine.
This is mostly true but I also thought the Lizzo verse was a waste at first and now it’s probably the highlight of that version for me
I wonder what her career would look like today if she released that punk album instead of vroom vroom
Don't remind me!!! I still want it, just for fun
Steve we already know you’d rather have Sucker 2 than Pop 2 but you lost this battle a long time ago
Charles is set to appear on Fallon on the 16th apparently! Interview and a performance of Gone...
Why is “February 2017” so short
Someone made an extended version on YouTube and gave it kind of a verse/chorus/verse/chorus format... it was pretty good. I’ll try and find it.
EDIT: here @username
i very much dislike 2099
^2099 kinda reminds me of Bound 2 by Kanye, in a sense where I’m just like “wtf is going on here?!”
Troye’s voice is just not good, IMO, in that droning “monotone” melody/faux-rap style... whereas Charli is really good at pulling off that sort of thing.
probably less than 48 hours now until we get to hear this (midnight in other counties). let's have some fun and rank some charli shit to pass the time. start with ranking the prerelease singles.
gone > warm > 2099 > feb 2017 > cross you out > 1999 > blame it on your love
Feb 2017 > warm > gone > 1999 > blame it > 2099 > cross you out
Cross You Out > Gone > February 2017 > Warm > Blame It On Your Love > 2099 > 1999
Cross You Out
Blame It On Your Love
"The best album you will ever buy!" (not mine btw, but physicals are around, so maybe we'll hear it very soon)
I need Next Level Charli to pop off so fucking hard to kick off this album
Yo somebody has got to find the sauce
There are some reviews out there, all positive so far.
I'm predicting 8-8.3 from Pitchfork
