I saw Bleachers the other night and they had 360 playing on the speakers before they came out after their opener. Highlight of the night!
“Hard” and “Lemonade” are two of the best and most influential EDM tracks of the 2010’s. She influenced both electronic and pop music in immeasurable ways. Even dipped her toe into hip-hop and killed it too. She was an artist’s artist and we’re all still catching up to what she accomplished. RIP SOPHIE. I think charli and ag in addition to Caroline and Danny l harle are carrying on that torch spectacularly. I was actually going to compare this to desire I want to turn into you as that albums bratty little sister but similarity its the most intriguing and forward thinking pop music album of the year
Before Sophie died, she produced one of the hardest hip-hop tracks with Vince Staples’s “Yeah Right.” Has bass that will rattle your house and a fantastic Kendrick feature.
I just couldn’t believe that we had Kendrick on a fucking SOPHIE beat when that came out - one of the biggest intersections of my musical tastes at the time. Amazing, amazing song
Has anyone resequenced the album with the bonus tracks included in it? I hate having them tacked on the end when 360 and 365 are perfect bookends.
Honestly at this point everyone should be beefing with Taylor swift because since around April she decided to be the most insufferable person on earth. and I say that as someone who up until and including Midnight was a huge Swiftie.
I can’t stand her and her music has taken the biggest nose dive in quality in recent memory. Folklore and Evermore were fantastic albums and then she just decided to make beige faceless music with no personality at all
I don’t know if I’m just getting swept up in the hype or what but this is getting closer and closer to being my favorite Charli album.
It might be her best honestly! At the very least it’s a different experience from Pop 2 because it no longer feels like an unfairly kept secret, everyone is joining the party this time around
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an album talked about so much by like every artist I follow. Kurt Travis even just posted about it. It’s really awesome to see and she deserves it.
I listened to Pop 2 again yesterday and it's still in a league of its own for me. Backseat, Track 10, Tears, Unlock It and Lucky are all probably top 10 Charli for me. Not to take anything away from what she's done since but that one hit such a perfect space for me.
Pop 2 will probably always be my favorite, it was my introduction to charli. but this will probably end up being #2
