Not that it matters in the end, but I’m kind of surprised that “The Giver” hasn’t had much staying power on the charts. I wonder if it’s just “Pink Pony Club” still doing really well or the change in sound for it. I expected it to be a bigger smash.

 

I think Pink Pony Club is just THAT good. I’d also say The Giver is a pretty quick departure from her brand. To be honest, it didn’t do much for me as someone who doesn’t enjoy country and I have heard the same sentiment from other Chappelle fans.

 

Hey I heard The Giver at the country music hall of fame a couple weeks ago

 

I enjoy The Giver but I get why it didn’t do as well. I think she’ll probably get another spike in streams once she starts touring again. Especially because she’s planning on changing the bridge every time from what she’s said. A couple of them will probably go viral.

All of the videos before are self produced for the most part. Idk if she just doesn’t want to do them or what.

 

Good Luck Babe never had more than a lyric video and blew up though. I think having a song blow up to the level of that, PPC and HTG is just really hard.
