Also not really sure how it’s annoying and ignorant to actually have a stance, if they published the full she literally talks about educating yourself. She was asked about question and she answered it, it’s not like it was unprompted. The Popcrave/base/whatever accounts just cherry picking quotes without sourcing the whole articles has been annoying.

I think she could've worded some things about her statement better but also not rly gonna fault her for not wording something 100% the way that I want her to when I feel like it's apparent what she meant. Idk I feel like this is why celebs end up getting so media trained after a while and then their fun personality gets kind of phased out because they try to sidestep everything being a controversy. Cough Harry Styles. She's obv not a trump supporter. And pushing back on politicians is the only thing that makes them change their stance. I hope young voters continue to be vocal about Palestine because it's the only way these politicians will eventually reconsider their stance, if they think it'll cost them votes

 

Yeah I think if she had worded it how Katie Gavin from MUNA did then it would be a non-issue. But people need their hands held to understand basic things.

I’ve really come to adore her whole direct, no bullshit approach to… everything. From weirdo fandom, to the media, to politics, to bad faith critics and the like. It’s quite refreshing to see someone on her level of success, this early into that success, articulate her deal so pointedly and stand her ground.
