I've mostly seen positive responses about the interaction with the photgrapher but yeah this

 

There's not much else to say except that Twitter is an especially mean place. I logged on last night to see what some music journalists were saying about the VMAs. My "for you" page was just a ton of really hot takes and mean things meant to rile people up for engagement. I could feel myself getting sucked into it and more depressed. It makes sense why Elon loves it.

No, then people might get it confused with Charli’s Chapplle remix (featuring Chappell Roan). Using Fiona is the only way there won’t be confusion.

 

I didn’t have quite the same experience but I didn’t realize I was gay until the end of undergrad and I wasn’t out until midway through grad school, and part of what helped was more exposure to queer media and music. So I’m glad queer kids and young adults are going to have this moment and hopefully it’ll help them be comfortable with themselves, especially with Chappell being vocal about her experience with queerness and coming to terms with it.

 

This came on last night while I was in the next room scooping ice cream. I immediately turned my head, shrieked "HOT TO GO!", and then went into the room to do the dance with the scoop still in my hand.

 

I know others have said it, but it’s really cool that Chappell and/or her team make sure everyone’s given credit.
