    Couldn't even get through checkout.
A 14 minute queue just to shut me down. Wild for a vinyl variant release.

I hate that this is where we are at. Just fucking let the fans who actually want to buy this stuff have it without making them spend exoribitant amounts of money.

Taylor is really not beating the “trying to block other women from being number 1” accusations.

Straight up bummer that Taylor just can’t take being number 2 for one goddamn week.

Are the digital versions helping her that much in the charts? They must if she keeps releasing them because she wouldn't need to release them if she could hold her own without any help in the charts, but she also could just be doing it for more $$$ from fans.

Regardless, the optics of continuing to do this are not great.

It's very annoying but I think we need to drop the "women" narrative because it's ANY human who stands to battle her. Zach, Kanye, Eminem attempt

I don't think she dropped anything for Eminem because she had no chance but yeah it's not just women

For me, it's not some anti-Taylor thing or anti-Tortured Poets thing, I have genuinely come around to that album more than when it initially dropped, it's just that, regardless of whether they are actually affecting much, the variants and such being released make the #1 on the charts feel less organic, whereas Chappell's album rising to the spot it is in feels extremely organic

Taylor is more product than artist at this point, she’s maximizing how much money she can bleed from her fans with these releases. It’s both so craven and so pathetic.

no such thing as an ethical billionaire lol

this will probably be the last time she does it because Posty and Sabrina will probably be too much for her

By the end of 2023 I was so burnt out on Taylor, and it was in large part due to her overexposure that year, unlike any year prior and unlike any other artists exposure we have ever seen (and the algorithm putting a lot of Taylor content on my feeds). I was excited for 2024 because the other pop girls, Dua, Ariana, Billie, etc. were dropping and I thought it would be more balanced...but what I did not expect was to have Chappell, Sabrina, and Charli being the ones that are dominating this year (and I am all for it)

The fact that anyone still blindly follows Taylor with how much shady shit she does leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I still can separate the art from the artist with Taylor, and I really do love the main TTPD album, musically she's still excellent. The constant need to WIN everything is really annoying though

It does sometimes feel like Taylor thinks she is some underdog artist who is struggling to survive in the music industry and needs to show everyone who she is haha.

I can't even begin to understand what kind of headspace someone like her is in, and honestly no one ever can, but I gotta think part of it is how much the Kim/Kanye stuff affected her, and eventually she came out of it bigger and stronger than ever... she's gotta love that feeling and wants more more more haha

Was Taylor performing these chart tactics during the Lover era? I genuinely do not remember.

whatever can happen will happen Supporter

Taylor seems to have the type of mentality that only the greatest athletes of all time have. They will do whatever they have to do to keep winning, break every conceivable record possible so their place in history is undeniable, and are motivated to prove to everyone that they're still the one to beat whenever a new, young talent with tons of hype comes along.
