The title track is almost good (not great), but the shouting totally ruins it. I think Chance needs to calm down with all the features in general, it's just too much and gets overbearing. Like, does this album really need two verses from Nicki Minaj?
"Town on the Hill" is my favourite on this album and I feel it's getting overlooked (understandably because it's at the back end of a lot of material)
i love that song too but i felt like i was being obnoxious claiming so many songs as great. they really are though
No. No it does not. This is good but not great, still need to hear it a few more times through though to form my final opinion. It definitely feels aimless and a lot of the features seem unnecessary but it’s a lot of fun at times if nothing else.
I would only cut two songs - Hot Shower and Roo - and the skits. Otherwise this is pretty great to me, downright impressive.
i get why everyone feels like there are too many guests but i think it's kinda heartening that not only are there a ton of guests but they all seem to be turning in some of their best work. dababy is amazing on "hot shower," megan thee stallion kills "handsome," one of the least perfunctory recent gucci guest verses appears on "big fish," calboy sounds perfect on "get a bag," nicki's album-closing verse is astounding
Tickets for his show in Chicago in the 300 level (top section) come out to $104.53 after fees. Uh, what the hell?
Roo is one of my favourites here, both Chance and Taylor kill it. It's definitely one that I don't understand in the context of the wedding party playlist though.
For someone to say there isn't a single good song on here tells me that they skipped the first two tracks.
After a week of listening and being kind of up and down with my feelings about it, I love this album. 5 year plan is everything I love about Chance roled into one song
