Yeah what about it? Day 1 I thought I liked it, Day 2 I realized I didn't really want to listen to it again. That hasn't changed since and I can tell won't anytime soon. Is that not a valid enough opinion for you?
It is so funny to me that one of the major albums of the year has a track with the hook "I ain't single no more". It's so sincere I can't hate it (it's actually one of the better tracks on here imo) but I had a really big laugh about it the other night.
After listening to this probably 7 or 8 times, I really don’t know what to make of it. I feel like I have a different reaction each time. Loved it at first, then the next couple times I soured on it a little. Now I’m loving it again. Each time i find different songs I enjoy, the spots that it drag seem to change for me as well. I really don’t know what that means, but I’m not sure this has ever happened for me with an album to the same degree.
I haven’t listened in full yet but I really like Do You Remember and All Day Long. Chance is one of those artists where I love a handful of tracks from each release but haven’t loved an album front to back. As long as there are a couple tracks here I enjoy I’m happy.
People have been dying to trash a new project from him, don’t think it would have mattered if it was 10/10 material. I don’t love it but it’s length is probably the biggest flaw moreso than the musical quality itself.
A certain Youtube reviewer just gave this a 0 so expect internet discourse around this album to get even more toxic
