Both are great, don’t think I could pick one over the other. Lots of great memories attached to acid rap tho
I think I like them equally at this point, with strong memories attached to both projects. 10 day has grown on me a lot more recently too
Acid Rap is definitely the more fun of the two for me. Coloring Book is still really good, but overall the whole project doesnt make me feel as happy and as excited as Acid Rap still does. Coloring Book has some of my favorite chance songs too tho so
I don’t think I have listened to Coloring Book since the month it dropped but I really dug about half of it.
Lmao my original post was gonna say “other than the big red machine stuff”. My last.fm Had BRM at 55 plays in the last 7 days. Chance not too far behind.
Not usually into rap, but I hopped on the Chance bandwagon after listening to Coloring Book and seeing him live a couple years ago. Really liking these new songs. He's got such a unique style that sets him apart from most other rappers for me.
Yeah, the production on 65th is incredible, and what an incredible progression for his sound. Pinnacle of the 4 songs, going for the minimalistic soul/gospel sound
That last verse or two is just fucking great. For me it goes: 1. Ingleside - Pretty much perfect, really hoping he can keep this up. 2. Security - Like the politics and call out of Rom and he's still able to throw a Boy Meets World reference in there, haha. 3/4. Wala Cam - I like Chance on here a lot, but not a huge fan of the later verses and whoever sings on them. Wish Chance did the whole thing haha. Love the beat in this though. 3/4. Work Out - Solid track, IMO, but I just like the others better.
haha he has a very unique voice, people compare him to Trippie Redd but I'm not familiar with TR so I can't weigh in on that
Haha for real. Just sing hooks and make bank. I'm also confused as to how this song is "By DJ Khaled" when all he did was scream some shit. I know that's most of his shit, but it still makes me wonder. Kinda feel the same way about Zedd... Granted I don't know much about how all that shit works.
