Both of those albums don’t get a lot of spins from me anymore because of their length. And I loved both. So that’s kind of the point.

that is totally fair and I don’t discount that all, I’m just saying it’s not an anomaly as far as current hip hop goes

 

every album should be 45 minutes and personally catered to me only

I actually genuinely can’t think of that many hip hop albums that are over an hour long from this year but admittedly I’ve kinda been dozing no bull

 

It’s really well made and full of great talent, but it is... fine? It’s really dense so it may be a grower.

I've never heard of Stranger Ranger until this last week, and I have sen their name a lot. What's the story/

 

it was just a joke and honestly doubt it’d be your cup of tea but who knows, listen anyways

 

Good indie / emo adjacent band that released an incredible album that captures a certain summer mood really well.

Idk if that’s a good way to describe them, but if the first track on their new LP doesn’t get you hooked idk

This was pretty good. Some standouts, overly long, some fat to be trimmed. I don’t love it as much as CB or AR on first listen

 

Grew a little on my 2nd listen.

Megan might be my fav feature but that just might be my hometown bias

 

My exact thoughts

 

Liking it quite a bit, but it’s not grabbing me enough to not feel the length. Still, there have been some great tracks so far, and it sounds better than I expected.

From the skits to the overall vibes, this reminds me so much of TCD, which is cool.
