Yea, this actually might be right critically. However I think Chance would disagree, especially after cancelling a massive stadium tour and The Big Day flopping hard.
Idk why but the 3 hat has always bothered the shit out of me. Is there a backstory with that? I always thought it was just associated with Coloring Book and it being his third album….but we’ve passed album 4 now and album 5 is currently in the works. Am I missing something?
Jesus, I guess it takes some guts to drop an absolute dud of an album and then release a followup five years later
So I have a ticket to the Acid Rap 10 year show this Saturday, and I bought the ticket under the assumption it was going to be an album play, but then he posts this and now I’m not sure? People are calling him out in the comments lol.
I think that’s his weird way of asking which song are you most excited to hear. He’ll do the whole album for sure
I’m at the anniversary show now. I hope he brings out everyone who was on the album, although I’ll be less excited to see Noname show up after her recent bullshit. If Gambino shows up though I will be very happy.
He played the entire album, out of order and not straight through, a lot of Coloring Book, The Highs & The Lows, and a few others. He brought out Noname, Vic, Twista, and Saba.
He just needs to put out a collection of songs. I feel like The Big Day broke him. There are songs I like on that album, but it does not really compare to his previous projects. Either way, I want him to move forward and release some music!
Yeah it's like he's insistent on the new "album" being some sort of big statement with a theme. First it was the art thing, then it was about Ghana and stuff, and now who knows what. You can just feel the indecisiveness, idk seems like having his brother be his manager might not be the best move, but whatever if that's what he wants to do it is what it is.
