He released a new song that’s actually quite good Dropbox He is performing at the Minnesota State Fair on Friday and on his subreddit people were pointing out how many tickets were sold vs how big the venue is and how big his fall off has been and Chance directly referenced those people (down to singing the legit numbers) in the song lol
The album's gonna be great if it ever comes! Stars Out is the only one I haven't been super big on. Together is a classic Chance song and this new one is almost as good as that imo.
Yeah this rollout feels insanely disorganized. Is the idea still that all of the singles are gonna be on there? Even though some of them are pushing two years old at this point?
Said it before, but I think he’s scared to death of it performing terribly and him getting clowned more. It seems hard for him to accept that his peak has long since passed and he’s just gonna always be mid-tier (which is a totally fine place to be). Just be like Lupe and release more albums and not care about numbers.
New song He needs to drop the album this year, he’s already lost so much hype/momentum from the delay
I’m still excited but yeah this rollout is getting a bit goofy haha. Still, almost everything’s he put out from it has been good.
He said last year he wants the rollout to be like Kanye’s GOOD Fridays where he drops songs randomly to build up hype for the album (I don’t think it’s working the same way it did for Kanye though)
It honestly feels like he's editing the album in real time based on the publics feedback, so he knows it won't flop
It’s really crazy how much momentum he lost…like obviously The Big Day was not great for his career but he still had at least some momentum but now going on year 6 with no new album after all the teasing and promises is wild and not that surprising at the same time lol.
I have like two Chance 3 hats that feel pretty embarrassing to wear out in public. Like, I’m sure he’s well off, but it’s insane how much he nuked his career voluntarily.
