Might be a minority opinion but I actually really hope Angels and Somewhere in Paradise end up on the tape. I dislike loosies and Angels is too good to not have a home

 

Really cool song. Can't wait for next week.

 

Angels has to be, I never got as into Paradise though. Maybe I just need more listens

Well that was certainly a gospel song

 

not super sure on this one if only because the hook feels weak

 

Ya hopefully production bolsters it a bit

 

really enjoyed that besides the guy who came on 3/4 of the way through. I hope the whole album doesn't sound like that, but it took what he did with sunday candy and just brought it to another level, I think.

 

It feels like the song he had to write after Kanye put Ultra Light Beams on his album instead

 

Sunday Candy is a clear predecessor so I'm sure he's had this one for a while

If he put out a whole album of gospel-influenced "Ultralight Beam"/"Sunday Candy"-ish music, you could probably clear a spot on my all-time-favorite hip-hop records for sure.

 

Just release those two songs on a split and you've got my AOTY
