Chance is doing just enough, and doing everything right. If you follow any artist or band closely, their hyper active periods will naturally seem like over exposure.
really loved both of the SNL performances. him messing up lines on "Same Drugs" was absolutely heart-warming.
Idk who it is but there's someone on I Shoulda Left You drops "n***a diss on me, he a homo" which is pretty gross.
"Google 'Chicago Betty Jones', them kids buried their mom / sometimes I dream I'm moving a spot where cops carry batons"
Fwiw, this also bothers me so much because how closely linked Chance's music is to Christianity and how Christianity is linked to the gross mistreatment of the LGBTQIA+ community. Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised considering Chance's use of a slur on Acid Rap, but I assumed things had changed.
Just got to that part, it's pretty disappointing and also very unnecessary. (Not that there's any reason it'd be necessary but it's such an easily replaceable line) Weird that Chance let it remain.
