I feel the same way, this is the first album I've ever experimented doing that with. Probably won't make a habit out of it.
Wow look what I started lol, I just think its a dumb line and religion is fine by me but you can believe in both science and religion together and not come off sounding like a silly person, I mean even the Pope believes in science. People who "dont believe in science" think things like God made man ten thousand years ago and that the earth is flat.. not all of them obviously but people who say things like that just sound kind of foolish which is why I said I thought it was a bad line. But ya its probably just a silly line with no thought or meaning behind it.
Man "grown ass kids" is fucking awesome. I love that Chance told us where it would go in the album, love it's placement.
In Conversation: Vic Mensa This interview successfully got me really hyped about his album. It's not gonna sound like his recent "bangers" at all I do agree that he seems like kind of a dick though
Chance has an album called acid rap. If anything he is on the forefront of religion=science. This is the natural progression. It's all love. Science and language dictates all it is is signs.
mixtape seems odd to me right now, but I'm pretty sure it's going to grow on me. there are a few songs that I think will be growers that don't sound great right away but I know they will in the future.
Love Mixtape, especially Chance's delivery on his verse. Love the whole album though, although I could do without the choir on How Great.
