Blessings (1) is definitely better here than live, I dig it. Same Drugs is awesome, Mixtape is not good.

Everything from Angels to the end is awesome. Listening to the DatPiff version, quality is pretty blegh throughout, I want a HQ version of this thing to really let it sink in

 

Going back to Acid Rap and it's still really good but pales next to this and Surf and his guest verses this year.

He keeps growing by leaps and bounds

 

Yeah I actually wasn't super crazy on All We Got but everything after that I was down with.

 

Kinda can't deal with the Bonny bear impersonator tbh

 

Francis has been doing it as long as, if not longer than, Justin. He just isn't as popular

Blessings is a snooze of a song I dont care for it at all really.. the whole things is pretty enjoyable but there is just some things about the way he sings/raps that bug me sometimes. He does this thing occasionally when he makes this kind of baby voice it bothers the shit out of me haha.

 

I gotta get to this. Never felt compelled to revisit Acid Rap much, but Surf was really great.

 

I've now listened in full three times. I don't know if I'll ever like this more than Acid Rap but he did a phenomenal job with this. Pretty much every song is great except the first one for me. Did I get a bad download or are the autotuned vocals (that I'm assuming are Kanye? I can't even tell) mind-numbingly louder than the rest of the song? It actually makes me flinch every time lol

I'm also very glad Angels made it, that's one of my all time favorite Chance songs and it needs a home

 

the mixing on the first track is bad, but I think it's the leak/datpiff reasoning

 

Fantastic mixtape, minus "Mixtape," which sticks out so bad.

 

Yeah that's what I've been hearing, I haven't heard the Apple Music version yet. I'm really hoping he puts it on iTunes because I don't currently have another way to put music on my phone, and might not for a while

Angels set the bar too high for me. I do like No Problem and Blessings, though - the latter reminds me of Sunday Candy. I'm not giving up just yet but I don't think I'll be coming back to this much. After the first listen, I'd say Acid Rap blows this out of the water.

 

Speaking of Sunday Candy, I still think that song is better than a lot of songs on here, though that might not be fair because it's literally a perfect song

My girlfriend loved Sunday Candy until she remembered that there was a picture of my ex and me lying in bed together up on social media with a caption from that song so she won't listen to it anymore.....

 

So we can assume it'll probably be on Spotify and the like in two weeks.

Nope, there are just two versions of Blessings on the record.

Only two songs I'm not that into are "No Problem" and "Mixtape".
